For the final part of this unit I need to draw on my research in the other sections to find the best ways to promote and sell my own work.
we were given the task to design a buisness card that we could use as if we where artists. I used images from other units I had done to illustrate my design. I chose my god design from unit 17 for the main image as alot of people had told me that it looked different and the liked the swirling patterns behind it.
If i was to further promote myself I would use a website like deviant art as it is free to use and puts you straight in touch with people of my age. also it is possible to sell prints through deviant art. The website takes a cut of the money and you get the rest.
For my unit 3 I made a sculpture of a dog drinking beer, I think that by exhibiting this I could also gain attention as it is unusual and funny which would appeal to my target audience of 13 to 25 year olds and also it might attract some negative publicity like some of Tracey Emin's work and that would also help get me more well known.
